Former National YR Chair Lisa Stickan Endorses YR Excellence

YR Excellence is proud to announce the endorsement of Lisa Stickan, Chair of the Cuyahoga County Republican Party and former Chair of the Young Republican National Federation, in our campaign to lead the Ohio Young Republicans.

Lisa's perspective on Ohio YR is unlike anyone else's. As former Chair of the Young Republican National Federation, the national umbrella organization for the entire YR movement, she has seen every state YR organization in the country up close. She currently leads one of the largest county Republican parties in Ohio, anchoring the party in one of the state's most populous regions. When someone with that vantage point says Ohio YR is among the strongest organizations in the nation, it carries real weight.

"Having served as Chair of the Young Republican National Federation, I've seen what every state YR organization looks like, and Ohio's is one of the strongest in the country. The YR Excellence slate has the experience and the vision to keep it that way. I'm proud to endorse Jacob Sargent and the entire ticket."

— Lisa Stickan, Chair, Cuyahoga County Republican Party

"Lisa has seen the YR movement from the highest level, and she has given her life to building it. To have her confidence in this slate, and in where we want to take Ohio YR, is genuinely humbling. Her endorsement is one of the most meaningful we could receive."

— Jacob Sargent, Candidate for Chair, Ohio Young Republicans

This is the latest in a growing series of endorsements. Republican National Committeemembers, senior officials within the Ohio Republican Party, county chairs in every region of the state, and major elected officials have stood with this slate. Ohio Young Republicans is the largest state YR organization in the country, and YR Excellence is the team ready to keep it that way.
